Overview
Non-destructive leak detection with pressure testing, moisture mapping and thermal imaging.
Hidden leaks are expensive leaks
Most of the pipework in Dubai properties is concealed in walls, floors and ceilings. By the time a stain appears, water may have been escaping for weeks — damaging gypsum, swelling joinery, feeding mould and inflating your water bill. If the leak is affecting the flat below, it quickly becomes urgent.
How we find leaks
- Meter and pressure tests to confirm a leak exists and isolate whether it is on hot, cold or drainage lines.
- Moisture mapping across walls, floors and ceilings to trace where water is travelling.
- Thermal imaging to spot temperature differences from leaking hot-water lines or wet areas.
- Acoustic detection to listen for escaping water in pressurised pipes.
Only once the location is confirmed do we open up — usually a small, targeted section.
Repair and reinstatement
We repair the pipe, pressure-test the line, and reinstate tiles, gypsum and paint so the area looks as it did. Where a shower tray or wet area is the source, we can re-waterproof as part of the fix — see our waterproofing service.
Reports for landlords and insurers
We provide a written summary with photos of the leak source and the repair — useful for tenancy disputes, building management and insurance claims.
