Overview
Rooftop and underground water tank cleaning, disinfection and inspection.
Why water tanks need regular cleaning
Storage tanks collect sediment, rust particles, sand and biofilm over time. In Dubai's heat, rooftop tanks get warm enough to encourage bacterial growth — and that water goes to your showers, kitchen and sometimes drinking taps. Building regulations in Dubai expect water tanks to be cleaned and disinfected periodically, and many communities and building managers ask for evidence.
Our tank cleaning process
- Isolate the supply and drain the tank, keeping water usage disruption to a minimum.
- Remove sludge and sediment from the floor.
- Scrub walls, floor and ceiling of the tank.
- Disinfect with an approved solution and allow contact time.
- Rinse thoroughly, refill and check water clarity.
- Inspect the lid, overflow, vents, float valve and ladder; report any defects.
Villas, buildings and commercial tanks
We clean GRP and concrete tanks, rooftop and underground, for villas, residential buildings, offices and food businesses. Larger buildings can be scheduled tank-by-tank to keep water available.
How often?
Typically every six to twelve months, and immediately if you notice discoloured water, sediment or odour. We can add tank cleaning to your annual maintenance contract so it's never missed.
